Jen Artz from Residence Life gave a great talk on change and how it affects our lives. She discussed personal examples as well as talked about ways we can work on getting better at accepting change when it happens. She discussed the ADKAR Model based on Prosci’s ideas.

On February 26th, RA Natalie and I showed a Ted talk by Chimamanda Ngozi. It was about what happens when human beings and situations are reduced to a single story: when Africans, for example, are treated only as pitiable poor victims.Her point was that each individual life contains a collection and many versions of stories.
